When and where can I pick up my registration packet?
You can pick up your packet before the race at the big white tent - at Applecrest Farm.
Race Day Pickup: 6:30am - 8:30 am
Can I run or walk with a baby stroller?
No, for safety reasons, strollers are not allowed on the course.
Can I run with headphones or earbuds?
So that you can hear traffic, and race marshals and for safety reasons, we strongly discourage the use of headphones on the course.
Can I run with my dog?
No, dogs are not allowed on the course.
Are walkers allowed?
Yes, Walkers are welcome to participate in our event. We will keep the course open in accordance with a 3:30 hours finish time, or approximately 16 minutes per mile. Note, We will keep the signs on the course up for the very last person and water stops may be self serve in the later stops. A timer, clock and medals will be available for everyone that finishes.
Can I get a refund if I register but don't run?
Sorry, once you have registered, there are no refunds or transfers.
Can I reserve a shirt in a certain size?
When you check the box next to a t-shirt size on your registration form, you're not reserving a shirt, you're helping us work out how many shirts we need to order in each size. If it's really important that you get a shirt in your size, please come early to avoid disappointment. You can read a more detailed explanation of our shirt policy here.
All registered half marathorers will receive a technical wicking commemorative race shirt. (picked up when you receive your bib, no shirts are mailed out)
Will I receive a finisher's medal?
Of course! All officially registered Half Marathon finishers will receive a custom medal to mark their achievement. We can only give medals to those with numbers, so make sure to pin your number on securely on the front of your shirt.
What distance is this race?
This is a half-marathon - 13.1 miles. The course is accurate and USATF certified.
About GPS course measurements
The course is certified and an accurate 13.1 miles according to USATF standards. However, your GPS measurement of the course is bound to be different and most likely show the distance covered to be "long". Not to worry, here is a very technical explanation why.

Where are the aid stops?
There will be five water stops for the half marathon and one energy gel stop.
Five Aid Stops: Mile 2.5, 5, 8, 10, 12, (Approximate locations)
Water - All Stops, (Gatorade: one stop)
Energy Gel: (Hammer Gel) one stop
Will there be changing facilities before the race?
No there are no changing facilities available. Please show up ready to run.
Will there be restroom facilities on the course?
Portapottie will be located at mile 8 by water stop 3.Will there be award for top finishers?
Yes, there are awards for top 3 overall finishers, female and male, as well as age group winners. Look for the Red Tent with the Awards Banner on it.
You must be present to receive your award. Awards will NOT be mailed.
Runners will be treated to Applecrest's famous Apple Pie and Ice cream after the event.
